Shyness Stings

cherry blossom

I looked out my window t-day.

Whilst – same as yesterday.

Landscape – pale, empty, frayed.

I gathered perspective from

Mother Nature’s display.

The weeping willow showed

many small, light, leaves laid low

with weight.

The cherry blossoms although

breathless to see; still had no cherries

ready to eat.

The wind swirled, never caring o’er

the possible damage it could hurl.

A snapped branch here.  Blossoms

dropping – there.

I think I’ll just stay indoors.

Feels comfortable in here.

This a way to conquer any fears?
